Hub dynamo switch. USB or light selector.

Post by lune ranger »

I have an Igaro USB charger and a Super Nova E3 Triple wired to a hub dynamo via a set of piggyback spade connectors.
I can't get full output from the light even with nothing plugged into the USB charger.
I want to bicycle up a switch similar to the K-Lite bar mounted switch to overcome this.
I can handle the wiring etc but don't know/ can't find a suitable switch to use.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Have a search for what Ian Barrington did, he made a very cool MYOG version

Thanks for that. Didn't know Igaro made a switch. Unfortunately it's not compatible with my older charger.
Emailed Igaro this morning and they got back pretty soon. I can jury bicycle the switch to my charger by soldering on a power lead/ socket which are sold for a few quid for the newer chargers.
Igaro even volunteered to do it for me!
Top result. Thanks Igaro.
