3D Printed Maxle Stand

Post by tomwardill »

Hi all,

Was looking for a stand to hold my bikes in my van. Wanted just the fork axle clamp style, but couldn't find anywhere that sold just the part (though they do exist, I'm sure).
So I designed and 3d printed one.

Current version has survived a 2 hour trip in the back of my van (unlike the earlier iterations), so I'm putting it out there for people to try. Would definitely not use it anywhere where a failure is critical to the bike or anyone else's health!

Printed at 0.2mm with 50% infill in PLA.

Works with boost or regular spacing, just screw the stands down at the appropriate widths. Putting a boost bike on normal spacing seems to work, but I'll design some spacers at some point.
