Frame bag for jenn ride

Post by cragrat73 »

Finally got round to making a frame bag for the jenn ride. It's come out okay considering I never used a sewing machine before.

Looks great. I too am a novice with a sewing machine but always up for a challenge. Sorry for being blonde but what material did you use / where do you get it from? Many thanks. Max

Max I have used X PAC vx21 material from Point North, www.profabrics.co.uk. Not cheap at £10.50 a half metre. My bag doesn't look so neat inside and I am lucky my wife makes and sells custom soft toys. So we have some good sewing machines. Although I'm attempting to make a front harness bag and the Bernina's stopped working. Give it a go, as a plumber never thought I would be using a sewing machine but I find it quite therapeutic.

Thanks for that - I will indeed give it a go! My daughter who is 7 can use a sewing machine, so I must be able to cobble something together - or maybe she would like to "help" me!! Will keep posted as to the outcome. Thanks again.
