12 hour, 3000ft overnighter

Post by summittoppler »

With the days running down in June, the only way for me to bag #6 was to go after work midweek and make sure I was back in for 8am.
So luckily a 20 minute drive to Eigiau for the start of the climb to Carnedd Llewellyn, Wales's second highest mountain (and one of the quietest!).

Some HAB with some riding saw me get to the summit at around 9:30, roll out the bag in the only decent spot and enjoy the sunset.

I was there a couple of weeks ago doing the welsh 3000s, it's beautiful. Is there a bridleway there or is it cheeky?

I'm afraid it's a tad cheeky but tbh I've never had grief riding/pushing here in the last 30 years. North Wales isn't renowned for its vast network of bridleways!

@htrider, ha! But as you're a bit further north, shall we call it a draw?
