Extreme commuting....

Post by fatbikephil »

...well not quite but had two pretty out there commutes this week thanks to the weather. Tuesday the forecasted snow actually appeared and lead to me taking the scenic route home over the Lomond hills - snow was 5-6" with lots of drifting. The going was ridiculously hard and it was 3 1/2 hours to get home....
Today was meant to be an easier ride through hopefully frozen compacted snow but the weather had other ideas. Another massive dump crept into Fife which left very little below 100m but laid down another 6" above it. Only 2 1/2 hours home as I took the train part way but I've defo earned me a beer tonight
