Everesting Stwlan Dam

Post by Richpips »

We were going to do the Lakeland 200 this weekend, but as it was so wet underfoot up there, instead we rode up a hill in Wales 34 times.

Congratulations - that's a climb I've thought about doing with a couple of mates, but glad it's been done (and in spectacular fashion!). It's certainly one of the 'coolest' climbs in the country to do it on.

I'm doing my 4th Everesting (and 2nd HRS) this weekend so hoping for kind weather!

Good luck, it was my second and I'm in no rush to do another. We did talk about a HRS (climb over 10K metres) but neither of us could face another 4 reps!

Thanks Stu, see you at the weekend. ;)

I hope you're on Sat night ... that way you can bring everyone back up, after I've spent all day bringing 'em down

Great stuff once again! I know the climb well and to climb it 34 times is just metal, respect!

Cheers. The first HRS I did was 125 reps, and this one will be 30ish so hoping it'll be a bit more bearable!
