A stunning ride, John and one of contrasts too.
That pizza looks ace, but the bivi site looks a rather...erm, "optimistic" from a weatherproofing perspective .
A tough act to follow

Static in a field?
A full charge?
Or perhaps a low drift velocity due to unexpected resistance?
Did your weekend live up to it's potential?
Feel free to tell us about it here...

Count me in: I've already done Oct, Nov & Dec 2023 and am attending this weekend's Winter Event, so it would be a shame to break the run.

Halfords do neoprene Ridge overshoes for £13. Pretty good and very similar to the Planet X ones, which I've also used for years.

Hmmm...bit stumped really...yep, insulated luggage; or pogies; split it along one edge lengthways and turn into a tarp for the dog/kids/small person; bin bag; floor mat for car/bike DIY?

You just might need a trailer to carry it, though
I've also rediscovered the joy of wellies, for when it's really hammering it down.

Aldi "adventure trousers", on sale a few months ago. Black, stretchy, windproof, quick-drying and cheap enough (£13) not to worry about trashing them. And they fit .
Or if the weather's really gopping: waterproof shorts, Gore-Tex gaiters and walking boots.
