Re: Peak District ITT. developing one
Quite tempted by this! Don't know the area at all so hard to judge timings etc as have to be back at work down South on Monday. Is it likely to be similar riding time to BB200 do you think? Not done the BB200 but the bits I know of this route, (70% of it) there is little hike a bike. Should be doab...

Re: Peak District ITT. developing one
OK, up for that then. That's for individual riders to decide. Would be a start at 10am(?) and finish when you finish.

Re: Are you happy with your bar end shifters?
Bar end shifters I really rate.
I've used them, and my boy has a set on his bike after breaking a set of STis.
Virtually indestructable, I prefer using the non indexing shifting.

Re: HTR filling up fast - anyone racing?

Whilst I like the idea of doing it at a leisurely pace, realistically i've not got the time for pottering round.
I'll not be on the podium, but will hopefully get round in 6-7 days.

Re: Blizzard Bivi Bags?

Think the upshot was they worked, had some limitations but a viable option, if only in extremis.
Cheers Rich.

Re: Blizzard Bivi Bags?
Agreed that the 385gms is quite heavy though it does look that you might actually be able to get some sleep in it. They're supposed to offer a fair bit of insulation.

Blizzard Bivi Bags?
Has anyone used one of the Blizzard Bivi Bags? They look like they would offer a good weight saving as they are a combined sleeping bag and bivi. I know condensation would be a problem if you were going to use it, and they probably wouldn't offer a night of luxury, but if you were going fast and lig...
