Re: Cycling Bucket List
Mine are pretty low key / humble due to my health. So staying fit enough to ride would be number 1. (My dad still rides his MTB for day trips off road along tow paths etc at 75 so that would be a nice goal) 2) help my son pass the mtbing bit of his GCSE. 3) get my wife and daughter to be more confid...

Re: Iditarod 2014
Keeping slightly OT but do you recall the name of that documentary or what channel it was on?
I'd be interested in seeing it. I really enjoyed Paul Howards book Two Wheels on my Wagon about the Tour Divide.
Going back on topic, any book recommendations on Iditarod?

Re: Anyone else not carry a phone?

Re: How Did You Get Into Bikepacking?
Seems like an ideal thread for my first post! I'd been riding off road on a bmx in the early 80's, just day trips. Started looking for a bigger bike and was thinking Raleigh Bomber (I'd hired one on holiday once). Then saw an article about MTBs (the Cranes irc) and my local Raleigh shop had a 5speed...
