Re: Regular Peak District Night Ride?
A good ride last night. Ronksley sounds good next week if it remains dry. Dave and I initially intended to go to cut gate last time-I forgot Abbey Brook was in the way!!

Re: err, that LAMM thing
Hi Dave, Score courses normally* involve a time limit in which you visit as many of the controls as you can without exceeding the time limit (normally a strict points penalty for doing this). Where to go for a weeks Bikepacking in February?
Rather unexpectedly, I have a week free in February. I'm keen to put it to good use, but mindful of the fact many routes may well be snow covered. Has anybody got any suggestions for a week long trip at that time of year either in the UK or abroad (Europe or US at a push).
Thanks
Mark

Re: BB200 - What MTB shoes did people wear ?
I wore inov8 fell shoes and some merino socks. Feet get wet quickly, but shoes are light and grippy and drain well. I put on an old pair of overshoes and cut the sole so I could walk in them when necessary. Neoprene socks do a similar job though I guess.

Hi Ian,
What time are you heading out tomorrow? I'm planning to go out at about 7ish, so might tag along with you for a bit if you don't mind and are going out at a similar time?

Currently torn between a fortitude adventure with hub gears and 29er with front sus. Will probably depend on how muddy and wet it gets over next couple of weeks.
