PSA Andrew the Maker, King cage drop cages

Andrew the maker over in the US has a small amount of King Cage drop cages (I understand they are exclusive to him). If you run a tangle style bag, these buy you a little extra space for larger bottles, as they lower the position of the cage.. I ordered two which came in at $51, so they are pretty p...

Re: The post man's been ...

This was last weeks purchases. Jersey Gore Element, really nice, some great features. Shorts Endure Singletrack, lighter than the old ones, but a better fit for me. Answer 720mm wide bars for the Kona Ute, these will make steering when loaded a bit easier. Challenge Grifo 120Tpi for £12.99 from CRC ...

Re: Ergons on Jones Loops?

I moved from Ergons to ESIs as I didn't take to the Ergons on my Jones bars, they didn't really work.
I couldn't get the angle right and I found that my hands would slip off the front over bumps.

The Bontrager stuff is amazing at about £13. I'm on my second set on my CX bike. Really fat and soft, but grippy in wet an muddy conditions.

Re: Bar light

I have a Race MK11 I got it for a bargain price. Its small light and can run for 36 hours. I didn't want one of the bigger lights as I don't want a too brighter light, as if I want day light I will ride during the day. Charge times are not as fast as I'd like, but I love everything about it otherwise.

Brooks C15 and SDG Formula FXR Ti

I have for sale a Brooks Cambium C15 its the middle one in the pic with Test written on it. Its seen little use. It was the test saddle from an LBS that closed down I paid £50, yours posted for that. (The other C15 is sold). I also have a very light SDG Formula FXR with Ti rails, really light and lo...

Re: WTD: Brooks Cambium

Hi Ian, I'd say the C13 and C15 are similar. I have a C15 for sale if you'd like slate grey fairly little use, but has test written on it in black pen (It was a tester from a local LBS that closed down, I think I was the only person to ever test it and subsequently bought it.). Its yours for £50 pos...

Re: BareBones Fatfighters - The weigh in

I weighed myself earlier, so that I could get in on the action. Currently 37 years of age, 6'3", 95.5kg BMI 26.3. At the beginning of last year I was 110kg and had been for 11 years. My goal is to hit 90kg by March and then put on some muscle (upper body) and probably hang around 92kg. I will a...

I picked up a pair of Giro Terraduros this year. Simply the best shoe I have worn in my 25 years of riding in SPDs. Great off of the bike as well.

Re: bar tape?

I normally go with a cheap interweb bargain tape, but I am running some Bontrager tape I picked up at my LBS and I have to say the difference is noticeable. It is really well padded.
I'll buy some more of the same, when they time comes. The best part was that it came in a great range of colours

RoyAB did and has been riding the bike the past 3 years without issue. I think his was based on a Genesis IO geometry specced up to 29er wheels.
I will alert him to this thread, so he can feedback.
