hope ur vango is better than my vango ostro mountain tent, would rather have my quetcua ones any day , snapped a pole on the second outing..... where as the decathlon tents are still going strong after years of heavy use

eve and i have used the 2 man vershion of this on WRT and it fits in my bar hearness fine and isnt too heavy for me anywya
, they are verry well made tents i have a couple of the quetchua tents and have hammered them in scotland for a few years even in winter skiing etc.

I have what i think is a B15 ? might be something different but similar (bought from posti ritch.) , i used it on my annapurna trip and it was amazing still comfy and no saws after 2 weeks in the dust etc

Allot of hotels have a gear store somif U are staying somewhere after and before your flights give em a call they will often look after bags and stuff

go avimore , and during ur trip do the natural (ish) single track that starts where the larigru hits the glenmore forrest its an amazing descent ! (and if you want a really unplesent peice of HAB that links up to this crry your bike over the boulders through the chalamain gap first !

i only did the winter event once , and it was so cold and wet that i have vowed never again as im soft, but 2 good bits of kit the year i did it were y primaloft jacket whitch keeped me warm even when water was running in the neck, and my paramo smock withc keeped me dry on top other than the water ...

i dunno all in compared to most sports i do the participation costs om biking are quite small , though gear costs are the highest out of everything i do. most of my cycling is basically free, and the odd event might cost money but over all its ok. fly fishing costs me £80 for a salmon/ sea trought l...

glenmore lodge in rothymercus does accommodation as well as beeing an outdoor centre, but sadly the pine martin bar accross the road (use to do a great new years bash) is closed due to the owners suicide. but think the glen more lodge outdoor centre has a bar

Any tips from the snow driving masters then? winter or 4 season tires are great basically , had them on my fiesta now on my jimny just night and day compared to normal summer tires. and then normall stuff like using gears to engine brake down hills etc haha , teachers should be able to get in then ...

Its why so many low spec hatchbacks and the like get through and the big shiny 4x4 BMW gets stuck in a couple of mm of slush. i have a jimny it is not big or shiny but is handy around the cumbrian laines and helpfull getting accross feilds for fishing , and up tracks for climbing haha , pluss great...

ye we just cant cope with winter , this morning i was getting anoyed driving allong in my 4x4 over shap summit with winter tires, getting stuck behind idiots in bmws that cant drive in the snow ... why dont we all just have sensible cars :D ... but ye when i was young i got taken on many long distai...

whole thing including sleeps for me (if itting anyway , sometimes if touring ,,,, its all one ride as you chose to stop allong the way .. would you have diferaint rides for before and after lunch ?
