Re: Ooohhh nice weather coming....

Creating terraces putting 4" by 6 foot posts into clay with at least 50% limestone/flint. Dig 2 foot sledge 1foot. Will add concrete to the 2 foot of hole next week. Managing 1-2 posts a day partly because of heat but mainly due to bone idleness. Dog happy to lay there watching me!

do you need a different charger for ni-zi battery

Ni-Zi are 1.6 volts and I may have some use for them but not sure I can use a standard Ni-Mh charger. I read they shouldn't be used in a trickle charger or once charged they should go to trickle charge. Either way anyone with any knowledge?

Re: Insurance com wants to pay for a solicitor for me to sue

The claim will have to be delt with, using their own solictor just probably makes things easy for them.. You'd have to dig a bit deeper to make your own opinion if there's a conflict of interest, although by the sound of your claim it may be relatively small, no major injuries?? There's probably no...

Still waiting for the insurance appointed solicitor to contact me. Still think it odd that they think they should sort me out a solicitor ...and pay for him?

Re: Insurance com wants to pay for a solicitor for me to sue

It’s probably cheaper for them to pay for legal stuff up front. If their insured was at fault for the accident then they will be paying anyway! If they are commissioning lots of legal work they will get a better rate. Should be impartial though, but I’ve no experience of this personally. Did you ha...

Re: Burley child trailer

I think I might put a sign on the back of the trailer "puppies on board". Now who would pass to close to a trailer full of puppies? Or even be annoyed with a cyclist pulling a trailer full of puppies?

Re: Burley child trailer

Seat mounts and harness can often be removed, or rolled n taped. Depends on model I guess. Would love to hear how you get on with it. I have a kiddie trailer that I am trying to get my border collie puppy to travel in. She loves it as a bed in the house, but howls n cries when we tow her in it. Hav...

Insurance com wants to pay for a solicitor for me to sue

to sue them. Okay that may be an exaggeration. Annoyed with motorist's insurance company for not sorting out dental problem (2 years). So rung them, as you can guess the person dealing with my case had left. The new person said she would get back to me.....didn't, Rung up a week later different pers...

The dog is only 17kg. She curls up and goes to sleep as soon as she gets in any moving vehicle. I have a large waterproof cushion quite thick do you reckon that might sort it?.

Burley child trailer

Anyone know if the seats can be removed. Second hand they are helluva lot cheaper than the Burley dog trailer. Its for a Springer Spaniel bitch. Smaller than average. The Burley dog or child trailers are quite light weight (9.5kgs) The one I use at the moment is 15 KGS I use it for firewood compost ...

Re: Trump steel and aluminium tax >>> bike prices?

My understanding from my daughter (studying politics) is that his signature effectively means nothing. It still had to be passed by Congress (?) and as his party only had a majority of one he's unlikely to get this (or pretty much any of his wacky ideas) through. Given the huge backlash from both s...

Bowl of Brussels sprouts zapped in the microwave with butter and salt. Any green veggie is an alternative. Sausage and Salad cheese roll. Capp...
