Alpkit Joey hidden under there. Prepping for a ride around the YD300 course this weekend with my sis and her BF.

Re: Fargo 29+ called the Deadwood
I think that Deadwood is gorgeous, but the suggested prices by CtB are 90% of the dollar figure.

Re: What rigid fork for 29+ clearance?
Does anyone make a boost110 carbon 29+ fork yet? Much as I love my Manitous on my Stache, I'm not sure I need them for bikepacking stuff.
I could just use a Whiskey no9, and then I could use a dynohub again... but maybe someone will make a boost110 dynohub eventually.

Re: ESI grips
The ESI packaging recommends window cleaning spray for getting them on and off. Worked a charm, even with the Jones long grips.
Personally, I hated the long grips as the pushed the brakes in too far. I cut them down, and haven't missed the "XC position".

Re: Sus forks for 29+
I'm running one on my Stache 9. Stiff chassis - tracks really well. After 900km, still feels lovely and smooth. Recommended PSI is way off for me, I've dropped 15psi from min setting. Others are saying drop 20. Even at min setting, I had to wind off all compression damping to get anywhere near to fu...

Re: New Genesis Longitude. Initial thoughts?
Definitely preferred last year's model. I would have one, had I not been dicked about by EBC. The mismatched hubs looks like a pain, and being tall, B+ is less attractive than 29+. However, the dealbreaker is that it's no longer Bike to work compatible. Most shops will let you add to the voucher Th...

Re: LIDAR Data Available via EA
I don't do any of this stuff, but I'm working with some geography people talking about using lidar and satellite imagery to generate a virtual environment that we want to augment - looking to simulate changes to urban greenspace to see if we can increase utilisation.

Re: Dreaded Bum Pain
I've always used bepanthen / sudocrem / conotrane on anything over 300km. For me, it's time off the saddle to let things dry, and the occasional wipe to get rid of salt that's the key. Had a pressure sore go grade 2 in Edinburgh. Unfortunately, that was the half way point of London-Edinburgh-London....

Entered and picked up my Stache 9 on the same day.
Failed to get it the Chupacapras to go tubeless, but think the installed rim tape isn't as tubeless ready as suggested.

Just ordered the last 21.5" of the first batch of Stache 9s being shipped. Been umming and aahing over what to get since I couldn't find a Genesis Longitude in my size. This looks fun.

Went and got sized up for one at the weekend. I'm 6'3. Guy reckoned fit wasn't weird, and that I'm normal shaped. Was a def 20.5 for me.
Doing it on C2W.

Lived in a few places. Have settled in Otley, on the edge of Nidderdale AONB. Great riding on my doorstep, plenty of opportunity for type 2 fun.
