Maybe an odd postage question.
I’m looking to but some outdoor clothing and found a good deal which I think won’t last long. Some stores have a click and collect type of system. You can either have delivered to home or maybe to a local food shop or store. The online shop I was looking to buy from does not have a collect at a shop...

Re: Can we have a new jersey yet?
If you did Merino or bamboo I would be interested. Or I could get a gilet. I would rather not have anything that was suggestive of an innuendo like ‘boner’. I’d feel a bit uncomfortable in public, at cafes, around children and families etc. Maybe this is just me being sensitive. Like the ‘Eat, Sleep...

Re: WTD: Alpkit Stem Cell in Steel
Errrr, well I do kind of have one in the colour you are after. It’s all good apart from one thing. To be able to fit my titanium pot inside, I cut the padded liner out of it. So it’s still very much functional and even better it’s a little bit more light weight. However, it still looks the same on t...

Re: Wanted - 2 or 3 Person tent
I have a light grey nature hike Ultralight cloud up 3 person tent - with snow skirts. They sell for £129 I’ve used it a few times with my daughter, and I was surprised, it’s actually not a bad tent, quite roomy. I took the time to seam seal the tent myself as it’s made from sil-nylon. https://www.al...

Re: Can we have a new jersey yet?
For bikepacking and long day rides I wear merino, if I don’t I can’t go too close to others due to the stink. So might not buy a jersey. As an option for those of us that stink, is it possible to have a bear bones patch that can be sewed onto my bikepacking bags or maybe somewhere on my merino shirt...

Re: Crowdsourcing where to find water - Tap & Trough
Doesn’t every establishment that has an alcohol licence have a legal obligation to provide free tap water to a person who asks. Or is this just to pubs.
Was there not a case where a pub refused to give a cyclist water and was in fact in breach of their licence?

Having a clear out and selling a few of my bikepacking bags. Re: Lezyne Mega XL GPS - A Modern GPS For Bikepackers?
For bikepacking I just use my iPhone 7 with a quadlock mount. Keep it charged with a sinewave cycles USB converter and son dynamo. As most cyclists that use a dedicated GPS devise will also carry their phone, would it not be lighter and convienent to just carry a phone with a clear colour screen wit...

Sounds like a good ride.
I’m planning a Shropshire ride in a couple of days and looking for good routes.
Do you happen to have a GPX of your route to help me design my route?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Seems to be some new Exposure Dynamo lights on way
I have a exposure revo and was looking at the sinewave beacon. Beacon has an inbuilt USB and can also be powered by an external battery if needed. So for me to consider a new revo I would like it to have an on/off switch, and integrated USB to charge a phone or battery, and can be used when the ligh...

Re: SON dynamo hub help
I’ve had two SP dynamos. Just after a few hundred miles, both failed and no better than a paper weight. I’ve now been using two SON 28 disc hubs. They just work. Use the hub with a sinewave revolution USB device. I either connect my iPhone 7 directly which is the most efficient use of the power, and...

Re: Sram Groupset issues
Depending on it's age or mileage, drag in the cable would be my first thought, changing down from the biggest sprocket is like trying to push a rope, SRAM are quite prone to misbehaving when the cables get dirty or sticky. Second would be the B tension screw, this when screwed in lifts the jockey w...

Sram Groupset issues
I’ve got a camino titanium with a sram force group set. Having a couple of issue. The first it is he gear shifting is sluggish. Going up to the 42t is ok but going down is an issue. As i shift down singly it’s ok for the first two gears then I shift and it stays on that cassette ring when I shift ag...

I’m now using a nitecore f2 charger with batteries. It actually will allow pass through as it is also designed for solar panel charging. I’m quite impressed. Buy as many batteries that you need. Re: Anyone got a Mason Bokeh?
Cheers, my main one is if the forks for the Ti frame is wider than the Al? I can get a panaracer hardpack 2in in the rear, but not the front. QR is indeed an odd choice these days, but I can live with it, and st the price complaining seems a little churlish. Yes, the aluminium Camino forks are a bi...

Re: Anyone got a Mason Bokeh?
Not in the same league, but I have just built a Camino Al frameset up. After a couple of longish rides I am tempted to get the Ti version over the winter possibly, assuming the geo is exactly the same. Fits me perfectly, rides well and is comfy for multiple hours so far, if that helps. I can get 65...

Have you thought of 650b over a 700c rim?
However if it’s 700c the new mavic open pro look nice or maybe a wheel build with DCR wheels. That’s were I am getting my new wheels built.

Stuck bolts in rear hub Ahhhhhh
I’ve removed a hope pro 4 rear hub from my old 26” wheels and planned on getting a new wheel built for my bikepacking bike. However, on dismantling the wheel I’ve found that I have got two stuck titanium bolts. Tried most things and also a stuck bolt/screw extractor. However this just took the bolt ...
