I'll never think about Lieutenant Hoolahan the same again  She was a Major... Not when I knew her :-bd That long ago since I've seen MASH that I've forgotten most of the characters names and ranks. Re: best hydration solutions ?

Podium bottles are good, but the valve system is a git to clean properly, and they don't fit well in the Tao cages I use on my road bike. Sometimes it's a case of sticking to a single manufacturer. On both my MTBs I use Specialized cages (Ribcage normal-access and Zee side-access cages) which work b...

Re: Wheels, hub sizes etc...

Wheels - check Adapter - check (just the one needed, rear is QR already) Rotors - check Cassette - check Skewers - think mine came with a skewer for the rear, but that set would work just fine. Hence the offer to post you a front one if you need it, I know I've got a spare knocking about you're more...

Re: Wheels, hub sizes etc...

Yeah, Centerlock is the way the rotors attach - a toothed fitting and a lockring as opposed to the 6-bolt fitting other wheels have. Freehub is already there on the wheelset, so it would be the wheels, adapter, rotors, cassette and a second quick release if you don't have one. If you go that way, I ...

Re: Wheels, hub sizes etc...

Essentially, anything that's 27.5" (or 650b to use the road terminology) and QR axled will work. Were I looking at spending your money, I'd use the stock wheels on the bike as my commute wheels, and buy a nice reduced set of Shimano XT one for 'best'/MTB use - they're reduced significantly at M...

Re: FS/Swap: Large AK Possum

Re-bumping this as I've still got a slightly-surplus-to-requirements Large Possum. A mate borrowed it for a trip to the US and returned it with a repair, due to a raccoon having a wee nibble trying to get at a cereal bar inside. I'll take some pics, but it's a well-done double-sided repair, shaped a...

Where are you getting that info? Couldn't see anything on particular bands, only that it takes dual SIMs if needed.
