Share a snap of your workspace/bike cave/fettling shed
My winter project has been the slow reorganisation and improvement of my multi use workshop, within this I've earmarked a corner for storing/fettling bikes and housing my camping gear. Because looking at tool organisation photos seem to be are my newest pastime I'd be intrigued to see your own works...

Down for this. Don't know too many details, other than looks a decent fun event for a good cause.

I'm up for this. Being off the bike much of last year has resulted in my baggy clothing becoming not quite so. Time to act to save my general wardrobe

Re: 2019 - what you got planned?
Broken wrist twice in almost a 12 month made 2018 pretty forgettable for me. I've just built a new hardtail up so hoping to up my trail riding and kick start fitness levels, physio going all well and good. Get in the habit of heading to Swinley again. Rolled around the Chilterns Cycleway loop on my ...

Non 'bikey' biking shirts
Just looking for some more multi functioning bike clothing for longer trips, focusing on tops. Have a good selection base layers and waterproof bits, but looking for something along the lines of a long sleeve shirt to wear on/off bike. Do folk use hiking/trekking shirts to any great effect and have ...

Re: Side entry bottel cage
I've got the Blackburns too. I find them bloomin' awkward to get the bottle in from the side. On the upside, they're orange, so fit my bike tart colour scheme. ah yeh I find this too with Camelbak bottles, seems easy with purist style ones. I don't mind this too much as at least it reassures me the...

Afraid to say based on first hand experience over many years that that is not true Genuinely interested - what have you seen them hunting? I've been watching then for years and only seen then feeding on carrion or earthworms. I have a farm in the Chilterns, not far from one of several repopulation ...

Think they'd be fine on a downtube.

From Dr nick of this Parrish: https://backcountry.scot/product/dewidget-strap-deck/ Saw this yesterday on instagram, looks a neat product. Tempted to try it on a bottle boss for bulky items paired with a half frame bag. By looks of it may be reluctant to use it on down tube without bolts, unless th...

Re: Things that make you sad.
Red kites will manage their own population when food gets scarce, as for the others - skylarks, etc, there cannot be a justification for culling those. Totally, I've made changes over the years to encourage the skylarks around our parts. I just wonder in 10 -15 years time whether red kites will be ...

My new bike is lacking down tube braze ons, so looking at bag or cage options to get around this. Anyone have real life experience of the King Cage Many Thing using their universal support bolts? Or bags along the lines of the offerings from Rogue Panda or Bedrock Bags, seen here - http://www.bikepa...

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/h ... 85951.html Quite rightly makes you sad. No possible justification, just simply f*cking wrong. Completely agree. However red kites are on that list and at some stage they need some form of management. Amazing birds but their repopulation program has sadly ...

Don't have any personal experience on Surly quality, I like the look of many of their bikes..but have heard several moans about the hardiness of their paint. Bridge club looks fun and versatile, similar bracket as Brother big bro (albeit non boost). My only gripe with Surly, which is a shame for the...

Some sound advice here. Been undertaking a similar project but on a slight differing scale. I've been renovating my farm workshop of late. Super tempting price on the Big bro frameset. I'd snap one up straight away if only it had boost spacing/ thru axles, perhaps the 2019 model will address this . I'd prefer the Ribble as a total package
