Re: The usual night time stroll....

First, use it in your compost bin. Pee is the best compost starter you can get. Pick a load of nettles as many as you can squash into a bucket then add pee. Leave to ferment and use dilute as a liquid feed - for plants. :-bd I have always meant to try that....but Nettle soup (not tried yet) and net...

At home I use a large sweet jar left on the top of the toilet seat... Eh? :???: Surely if, at home, you've walked all the way to the toilet you may as well just use the toilet, rather than using a sweet jar kept on top of the toilet... This adds an extra level of complexity I'd not previously consi...

At home I use a large sweet jar left on the top of the toilet seat.....not really practical in your case. Why the f#@! do you not just pee straight into the bog? Most drink bottles are adequately wide enough to pee into. Even for me! Alas they are not big enough for an old mans 3-4 pees a night. At home I use a large sweet jar left on the top of the toilet seat.....not really practical in your case.

Re: Bike Locks

Have you thought of Dutch lock? also called a nurses lock. On its own it just locks the back wheel. It's near enough impossible to get off. It doesn't stop people picking up the back wheel and walking it away. I add a cable so it can be locked to the proverbial immovable object. As a quick way of lo...

Re: Taking dog on bike trips ?

P.S. my dog associates the trailer with going to work. She is a gun dog and she doesn't always let me open it before trying to get in. When I first got it she was not happy at all with it but then I wasn't taking her any where interesting.

Re: Taking dog on bike trips ?

To start you put the dog in the trailer, wherever it wants to or not. Then you take the dog somewhere and let it out. Somewhere new or somewhere it loves to go. Dogs work by association. Gettting in the trailer must be associated with something good. Otherwise the dog won't take to it.
