Apparently the Arkose LTD only has routing for Di2, not regular cables, which rather puts it out of the budget frame swap picture. Yep noticed that also. I think I've narrowed it down to both sonder camino al and the santiago as both can switch wheels out from 700 + 650 giving more playing options,...

Very impressed with my shark CX bike - bought as a frame, forks and wheels for £260ish on eBay... Noticeably slacker than average and surprisingly comfy to ride. CX frame swap
Im looking at swapping out my cx bike frame ( planet x xls) and putting the bits onto a more relaxed drop bar frame . Thinking of the sonder camino al as a cheapish alternative ( don't want to spend loads) . Any ideas on other similar frames welcome.

I'd like to jump in on this if ok, I also work 4 on 4 off nights so weekends are family time. Would it be possible to park my van at someones place then ride in with them ( coming from nr MCR ).
