I was thinking about him the other day. I've looked for his hooks without success.jay91 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 22, 2023 2:31 pm Reminds me of the chap who visited all or nearly all the bothies putting hooks up

Re: Dub bottom.brackets are they rubbish?
I have a Dub BB on my Broken Rd that must have done 7000 miles, same on Tom's bike.

I've seen two of these seal gut jackets in the last couple of weeks, which must be a sign.
From a distance they look like DCF which I guess is why they caught my eye. The earliest date from 5000 years ago.

Six Moons Designs Gatewood Cape & Serenity Nest
I bought this combo earlier this year 2nd hand (little used) as an option for this summer's accommodation but ended up using my Lunar Solo. There have been a couple of mods. Notably, a couple of extra guy points on the cape and a couple of lifting loops on the nest. £180 please which is what I paid ...

Yep, that is also a possibility. I do like a holster though.Bearbonesnorm wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 8:24 am Could you not just strap whatever size drybag you like to the bars in a similar position - no holster required?
