Re: Northern England Christmas Bivi

Hi guys,
Just trying to get a feel for the weekend :)
What's the normal train of events for the evening?
Hoping to make it. Do we meet at a pub in evening and then ride to spot and set up?
Have grub and tipple and banter at spot?

Thanks in advance :)

Re: more an idea than plan. PEAKS saturday into sunday?

:) Lovely! It's got potential that! Cheers.
Is it ok for us to banter the idea about and see what plan we come up with? :)
Weather looking grim :(
I'll find out what's happening Sunday, if anything and we'll see what we can come up with. Perhaps even as a solo if you can't make it? Thanks again :)

Re: Frame Bags on Carbon Frames? Do or Don't?

Hi from my experience with carbon frames they deffo dont like rubbing. but usually harm comes from harsh harder objects, ie a bottle wih a stone stuck under can create a hole! muddy gritty tyres can rub the carbon stays :( seen both, done one of them :( But i haven't ever tried a bag on a frame. :-)
Good to know :) Does seem obvious when listed but good advice often does!
And the fact that folk aren't being moved on adds confidence :)
Many thanks folks!

Same thoughts and deeds regards fires etc.
I just 'worry' consider the being moved on possibility. Does that happen much?
Obviously not in the farmers garden etc! :-D

Re: Northern England Christmas Bivi

Interested please :D

I wrongly thought bivvi in peaks would be a difficult thing to 'get away' with especially around reservoir.

any other areas that can be shared as pretty hassle free stops? :)

many thanks
