Dartmoor recommendations

Evening. I've got a pass out for a couple of nights / days to go play on Dartmoor, and was wondering if people have any tops spots for discreet wild camping with a small tent? Burrator, Fernworthy, Bellever all look quite useful but others may have better information / experience. I've got no partic...

Re: WRT 2012 - Thanks

Yup, thanks to Stu, Dee and all involved for putting together such a great weekend. I'd made up my mind to have a fun time and nothing the little bit of dampness in the air was going to do was going to change that :D Nice to have a chinwag over multiple cakes at the end with other likeminded gear fr...

Re: Let's see your WRT set up

Hoping the plonk stays strapped in to the cage  'Course, if it does keep flying out, I may just have to neck it rather than let it go to waste :P Bike looks fine to me, Dan. Looking forward to meeting folks while milling around tomorrow, and getting a little damp over the course of the weeken...

Re: Let's see your WRT set up

Here's my novice attempt - not channelling Nick, honest! And my bottle cage is appropriately filled (with a 1l Tetrapak of Spanish vino tinto :D )

Re: Welsh Ride Thing 2012

Funnily enough I've just bought one of those AMK Thermolite 2.0 bags to take, along with a silk liner (so long as the current 9C forecast holds...). A bikepacking novice so I'm hoping it all works out! Really looking forward to this. Out of interest, if we're not camping at the campsite the Friday a...
