Re: BB 200 Kit List

Well it's on it's way £13 to post!!!

For £2 you could buy a proper made buy a Welsh person Bara Brith not my flour not mixed in properly, bung 2 cakes worth in 1 tin effort.

Re: Bear Bones 200 Route Details.

Yes boooo indeed.

It's also a double booo as the 'welsh' Bara Brith was being brought by me.

So 'Surrey' (and made by me, not mother in law, so will be rubbish, apologies to those who are having some). will be arriving via Royal Snail

Re: Anyone use Oricaso stuff?

It's all really rather good (in context) . The mugs are a bit flimsy but they do really work and fold flat and are easy. Could be ideal for guiding, I wouldn't use them though, I like my proper mug. The winner is the bowl, it's brilliant it means that you only ever have to have clean boiling water i...

Hmmm we'll have to see how the next 2 weeks go, looking at the route though, Part 2 does seems optional :)

Re: Training for the BB200??

Hardly touched the bike since my ride to Wales, I fear the BB200 will be more of a social weekend and an excuse to be out and on the bike than an epic time rial for me.

Re: Frame protection for frame bags.

can't see the point really,

scratches = use

use is good.

Think of it like a Land Rover, scratches, dents and bent bits only add to the product. A pristine Land Rover is just wrong in everyway. The same should be true of a mountain bike.

Re: BB 200 Kit List

Right it's one night and as I am (more fat than usual) fat at the moment so won't be quick therefore my plan is to go longer. Sleep as little as possible therefore comfort doesn't matter. I will be taking Sleep (not planning on much unless I'm knackered / emergency / lost / can't go on) Hunka XL Xer...
