Yeah unfortunately these are USA only. I had to get them from there for a custom frame I had built up.

Sorry to hear it was a headache last year Si.....

It defo wasn't for us taking part... Loved it.

Some of the Hamsterley Trailblazers lads will be interested again if and when the invites get sent out and I can't miss out on being the last one out on course again.

Count us in if there's space :-bd

Re: Troubleshooting (Rohloff) help needed

You haven't got carried away with the chain tension when you reassembled did you? This could cause the roughness.

The lower gearing thing is a mystery. I can't think its the rohloff. Perhaps you, overnight, became super fit as if by magic?

Re: S*dding bearings

. Though I do find the mis-numbered seals a bit weird as that numbered seal doesn't fit between the two races, it's too big!
It's fulcrum... From my experience they'll have probably got a batch of mislabeled bearings on the cheap from a supplier..

They have form

I learnt this one the hard way at work....

My new rule.

Measuring bearing then order off size. Not the code on the seal :-bd

Wales - Mach Loop - Watch and ride

Just an idea for next year but would anyone have ideas for a route I could do that would at some point put me at the prime viewing spot for the RAF's low level flying here:

Mach Loop
A487, Dolgellau LL40 2SH

I'm thinking I'll be spoilt for choice will I?

Amazing. Can't believe the jump in numbers compared to last year but off the back of it I'm not surprised. Was a cracking weekend. I'll have to up my game this year to ensure pizza though. I may or may not of been the guy who you thought was dead but rolled in well after dark  You pitched the e...

Re: One for the Rohloffistas

I've not had any bother this year just squashing the cables behind my harness and dry bag... Looked dodgy at first but shifting hasn't been affected in the slightest... Have you over engineered a solution, with the noodles and that, to a problem that you thought existed or did you have shifting prob...

I use these https://togs.com/collections/togs-1/pro ... n-mtb-togs

Work perfectly on the rigid for a different hand position. Use them all the time when riding that bike.

Got them from here https://www.comriecroftbikes.co.uk/shop ... ccessories

Re: Minimal rear rack like this

A rack will not solve clearance issues you may have. It just invites you to take more gear  Clearance isn't the problem for me. I'm a bigun so when the saddles dropped it doesn't hit anything It's the swaying and momentum behind the swaying that doesn't seem dropper friendly... i.e. wearing o...

Minimal rear rack like this

Just seen this minimal rear rack and it got me thinking of ditching the seat pack for a more dropper friendly setup... Is anything else like this available as this is a bit spendy.

Re: SOLD!! Thorn Sterling (Rohloff) + extra forks & more!

Brilliant news, remind him to update the Rohloff registration, so many people forget :) Why is the transfer necessary out of interest. I bought a second hand rohloff, filled in the form then never really heard anything back/ forgot about it until now. It can't be for warranty as this is void as now...

Re: Capital Trail?

Three two problems I had were the no bikes sign mentioned above but I just went through. It is just a road so no harm done. Put that one down to Grumpy residents. The other was near Lauder. A gate with barbed wire had been put up. Again I got through it but then felt like I was in someone's back yar...

I recently went up and finished what I started. :-bd This time I left the van at tweedbank railway station. Just added some ergon GA3 grips to my stooge Moto bars and couldn't believe the difference in comfort they've made. The GA3 is sold as an MTB grip so is smaller than the usual style. Stopped me dropping my wrists when seated but are then unnoticeable when decending... Gonna try them on the trail bik...

I'm sure I seen somewhere you can attach water bottle cages to the sides of these. Does anyone know if that's possible?
