Why do vegans always have to mention the fact that they are vegan? Why do people who ride bikes always mention that they ride bikes? (same for anything else that is part of a lifestyle choice) Not only cyclists. Mrs does the local ParkRun and there's a bunch that wear Vegan Runners vests.

It’s just another way of commodifying the outdoors. Imagine if it caught on in a big way.., say if lots of farmers in the Lakes saw it as a way of boosting their income a bit. If you had a couple of scenic hill tarns on your land where you might see a tent or two on a summer weekend, why not put a ...

With that type of budget I'd be after a Solaris max. Must admit I've a soft spot for Cotics - got a couple of them.

Following with interest.
Planning on doing the TCW in July over two days with a bit added on as the rest of the family are staying on the coast.
Would your version be starting at Knighton or somewhere else on the border ?

Ride down lots of things in the Peak on my single speed crosser which has 35mm tyres. Can tackle most things apart from rock gardens like Cave Dale and the Beast. Use Schwalbe Landcruisers and inner tubes. Cheap, heavy, but the sidewalls are as stiff as a board which means I hardly get any pinch fla...

Had a few Frog bikes for our little one. A bit like a poor mans Isla Bike. Costs a bit of an outlay to start with but we've managed to sell ones she's outgrown without taking too much of a hit.

I was going to do the full two days but decided to cut it short as I'm still recovering from an an injury and decided to err on the side of caution. Called in at Go Outdoors on the way home from work for a pressie for my dad and some boil in the bag food for the WRT just in case.
Somehow a MSR Trailshot ended up in my basket. Dunno how that happened.
Got an extra 10% with my YHA membership which was nice.
