I hope he manages to stay at the pointy end all the way round.
May the gods of racing and bicycles and weather and mechanicals smile on everyone :D

Enjoy yourself. Rackham Hill is my goto spot on the SDW, I normally go from there to chantry but you're headed in the other direction.
Chanctonbury ring is another favourite spot too

Re: Diving down the dynamo rabbit hole
Wow, blown away by all the input, thank you. Very interested to read about the lights. I have a magicshine clone bought 8+ years ago that has been amazing. I upgraded the lens to a wide beam pattern to spread across better and it does everything I need it to. Not too long back I bought a trustfire b...

Re: Bluetooth headphones
I have some anker soundbuds slim.
Less than £20, 10 hours playtime for 2 hrs charging. Usual anker no quibble guarantee. My little lad hung off one till the bud popped out of the housing and as it was less than a year they were replaced.

Well. My eyes have been opened to a very spendy little corner of cycling I knew nothing about! Due to a very limited budget my current thoughts are Dynamo hub - talking to richpips about his love mud juice/SP jobby B&M usb-werk to charge everything Cache battery - probably something Anker made L...

There's a portion of the Downslink closed at the mo, but for the life of me I can't remember where. I'm fairly sure it's navigable around but not signposted so

Testing the waters - dynamo hub/700c front wheel
It's my birthday in a couple of months, so I thought I'd see what's out there in this little part of the world.
Im after either a disc hub or a front 700c disc wheel, suitable for mostly road and touring but probably a bit of the rough stuff too.

Kyphoplasty..
Has anyone on here ever had kyphoplasty? If so, what was your experience and more importantly, recovery time? Had an off back in 2019, and they missed a fractured t9 vertebrae in the xray (apparently not uncommon). Recently discovered and the MRI shows its still bruised and surrounded by fluid, so i...
