Re: What lock???

I like the look of the Otto Lock, although don't have one myself.

Having seen some of the videos of them trying to cut one with bolt cutters it looks pretty impressive given the size and weight.

Re: Mason Bokeh - 54cm - £1900 ono

Hi, Sorry, I've updated the post with the price. I've listed it at £1900 ono. The steerer has been cut by around 1.5cm - they don't come too long from Mason, and I still wanted a bit of movement either side. There's approximately 2.5cm of spacers under the stem at present. I'm based in South Shropsh...

Mason Bokeh - 54cm - £1900 ono

Mason Bokeh Adventure bike in grey, 54cm. I've owned this bike for around 4 months, and loved every minute of it. I'm sure the bike needs no introduction, but it's outstanding on and off road. The bike is immaculate, having been cleaned after every ride, with no marks. This is one of the top-of-the-...

Re: shimano disc pads with fins .....worthwhile??

Had discs on my road bike for 2 1/2 years now, and didn't notice any difference when swapping from pads with fins to regular pads. I run Shimano BR-R785 brakes with Shimano G02A Resin pads and find the braking response is fantastic nearly all of the time. For context, I'm around 60kg and live in a f...

Re: Switching from SPD-SL to SPD

Cheers guys.

I don't want to overthink it, but know I'm more prone to left-knee issues if the setup isn't right.

Re: Switching from SPD-SL to SPD

Cheers both.

I'm leaning towards just sticking them on, getting measurements roughly right and just riding to see what it feels like.

Switching from SPD-SL to SPD

Hi All, I've recently bought a Mason Bokeh, with a view to replacing two bikes (gravel-ish Genesis and my go-to endurance road bike). I have fairly sensitive knees when it comes to bike fit, and so for those of you that swap between road and gravel, I wondered what you do when switching between peda...

Re: Everesting Stwlan Dam

I'm doing my 4th Everesting (and 2nd HRS) this weekend so hoping for kind weather! Good luck, it was my second and I'm in no rush to do another. We did talk about a HRS (climb over 10K metres) but neither of us could face another 4 reps! Cheers. The first HRS I did was 125 reps, and this one will b...

Re: Everesting Stwlan Dam

Congratulations - that's a climb I've thought about doing with a couple of mates, but glad it's been done (and in spectacular fashion!). It's certainly one of the 'coolest' climbs in the country to do it on.
