Re: Popping pill - TD related (or not)
In total dream world to assume everyone here (despite being a jolly nice subset of society) would prefer to finish it clean than finish it fast. From my own experiences of other people during events and even world record attempts, if it seems unbelievable, more often than not it is. My own rules for...

Think the one I have is an old possum, no idea as it doesn’t say. It’s only 46/47cm long and about 15cm deep so probably not big enough for your space

How does the divider attach inside the straightcut one? Sick of the Velcro opening on my apidura one!
I might have an alpkit one that would fit, will measure it later for you

Re: Bargain Alert Thread
I really like the look of some of the olsen bikes but the website melts my head, I can't even find tyres until I search for the word tyre, and the bike build choices are just too numerous and confusing, I debating buying a few months back but in the end I just gave up on the website Yeah the site i...

Re: WTD: Bars, Brakes, Shifter (flat bar conversion)
To make an 11 spd mtb shifter work with force, or rival, you need to fit an mtb cable guide from a mtb mech to get the correct pull ratio. It’s that or buy a sram apex flat bar shifter and use a stock apex, rival, force mech. I’ve done the opposite 11 speed drop bar levers with eagle mtb mech by fit...

I have a shimano r7000 crank on one of my bikes that came from AliExpress, my guess is that it’s surplus stock. Crank has done plenty of miles no issues

Re: Around the world on a fattie
Would love to know where he will be obtaining replacement tyres from When I did gbduro, both my tyres were bald by the 2000km end after 9days!! Had to swap front to back halfway. As above, lots of time for a fatbike, but tyres in particular would be an issue. Cranks, you could use a 24mm spindle to ...

I’ve got an old alpkit airlok you’re also welcome to, taped seams are looking a little tired but no other observable wear.

Re: 29+ suspension forks with clearance for 3.0” tyres
Thanks for the replies everyone There’s no way even running xr2’s that I’ll be able to trim a mudhugger and it fit, even tried the mudhugger off my Smokestone mr Harry and that was a no go either. Really not a fan of laufs, have had a carbonara and a trail racer in the past. I’d also spotted wren ma...

29+ suspension forks with clearance for 3.0” tyres
Does such a thing exist? 3.0” tyres fit lovely on my Smokestone mr harry which has a rigid whisky fork and a mudhugger. Built up some 29” wheels for my fatbike and there isn’t room to run a mudhugger under the fork bridge of the bluto which led me to question is there are such forks about that would...

Re: Aero bars wrapping ?
I’ve always just used the esi racers edge (skinny) mtb foam grips on mine, prefer this to tape myself Id never thought of that. Would they sit ok on ski jump style bars ?
