Re: Bivvy bag reccomendations
Thanks lads, Ill take a look at the thread you mentioned and I agree, a full on bivvy bag is a bit belt and braces, I'm glad to learn there are some less extreme options for sleeping bag covers. At this point I'll freely admit that I see myself as a fair weather bivvy'er. I don't think I'll be wakin...

This has let me try out the Alpkit Hunka and the Aqua Quest Hooped Bivvy. Both were fine and kept me wa...

Re: Bivvy a month 2018.
Hi @Johnclimber & @bgrunes
It was indeed a good night - I hope the slightly pi$$ed up antics of us bivvy newbies didn't keep you awake too long! Great pics, I'm looking forward to the next one now. Can you start BaM in any month?

Re: Jenn Ride - Bearboners...
Really enjoyed my first go at bike packing and a multi day ride! Not sure if I met any Bear-boners ( ) along the way but everyone who I did meet was very friendly and happy to have a chinwag for as long as we at the same pace. Great bunch of people. Managed 71 miles and 8500ft - shaved a few...

Re: Jenn Ride - Bearboners...
Hi all, just registered to try to pick up some tips in good time for Saturday
I'll be plodding along at the back trying to keep the pub goers in sight! Driving up Saturday morning, it's only an hour from home.
