Price is negotiable, particularly if you don’t want the carbon wheel set.

Salsa Fargo 2017 (M) steel frame
For sale: £1500 with Reynolds carbon 29” wheelset ( £1150 with 29+ wheelset only) Salsa fargo 2017, this bike is vaguely exciting, unfortunately I've bought it in the wrong size an that's pretty much the only reason for the sale. The bike will come with a reynolds 29" carbon Wheelset that I've ...

Re: The central belter
Looking forward to the belter, booked in for the mass start, that being said I'm not sure how many people there will be. Don't really know what to expect either, just wait and see I guess.

I have no idea where I read tomintoul was the highest in Scotland, its the highest in the highlands in eithe case.
It was a great ride and I'd recommend it, I really had some dark moments but it always happens hey!

Re: Tuscany trail
Sorry I've only just seen these replies, it really wasn't easy, that heat was so hard, but like I said in the write up the second morning I was almost suicidal haha. The coast to coast looks vaguely exciting, the link is below, I would love to do it but don't know if she will let me. http://italycoa...

Re: New bike advice
The vagabonds smart, not sure why but I'm just not that into it, maybe get a frame and build it up would be quite good. The other bike I've seen is the on one space chicken, good price an you can run 29er wheels on it, its undoubtedly light, could easily stick some road wheels on an use it for abit ...

Re: New bike advice
Haha cheers well I'm heading to slam 69 in Gloucester tomorrow to check the Fargo out, would be a good bike for the central belter I reckon. Asbestos was and still is a very good insulator.

Re: New bike advice
Cheers, well I do love the look of the Fargo, did it seem heavy? What's your problem with TI just out of interest? It seems to be the IN material.

New bike advice
Hi all, just after some opinions. Looking at buying a new bike this weekend, mainly for bikepacking. I've narrowed it down to, the sonder broken road TI or the salsa Fargo (steel). I like that sonder is a uk brand, love the fact it's a reasonably priced ti bike and it's versatile, an the salsa is a ...

Re: Sleeping bags
Cheers, I suppose I was looking for something around the 0-5 degrees, also something that doesn't take up as much space as what I'm using at the moment, I suppose my budget is below £150. I have been looking around and a mate got a helium sleeping bag on offer and it's ace, but normal retail is pret...

Sleeping bags
Evening all, I'm sure this would have been discussed somewhere but I can't seem to find it.
Just after some guidance on buying a new sleeping bag, something quite small and quite light an doesn't break the bank. Cheers

Re: Cairngorms route advice
The Cairngorms is bloody tough mate, I'd ease into it with something else. There's lots of climbing and lots of hike-a-bike too, although if you were happy to do it over 3/4 days it is easily manageable. Watch out for them midges, they'll ruin your trip for sure  .I'm told the capital trail is...

Re: M4 Corridor Bikepacking (England)
Why don't you do something along the ridgeway, maybe do the double starting at the Turing end? It's quiet not majorly busy and some nice sights to take in, it also itnt far from civilisation should you need a pub, shop or B&B

Tuscany trail
Evening all, I've recently completed the Tuscany trail. I've written up a blog an there's a fair amount of info, I'd definitely recommend it for next year, especially if you like sun coffee and pizza. Check it out and let me know what you think. Cheers Aidan. Tales from the Tuscany trail – AidRobbi...
