The only times I've ever want to remove a power link has been in the workshop and a BBB tool works perfect for me. Out on the trail the only need has ever been for putting one in for fixing a broken chain!

Wayland Smythy is about 3 hours away from me, so quite do-able even as a quick midweek overnighter -- akways just thought it was a bit too obvious and close to a road.
