Re: My First Meths Stove
I am thinking of one of stu's as a backup option. Gonna force my kids to start drinking Red Bull to get me lots of thin cans for some double wall experiments. Sure a couple of cans each before nursery / infant school couldn't harm.... On that topic, but slightly away from stoves, I was walking my da...

Re: My First Meths Stove
Ah... Just taken a better look at the ones you sell and the one made by techno mail further down. What I notice now is that the holes don't go all the way through I.e. Neither of them are single wall. Thought it all seemed a but simple. Considering mine is about 20g, yours at 8g is very impressive. ...

My First Meths Stove
http://i.imgur.com/3X5xV2k.jpg So.. My second attempt at a meths stove.... and it still doesn't work. Takes 50ml of meths, jet holes are from a 2mm drill bit, bits cut round the rim to allow for air to enter. Took about 5 minutes after lighting before I could put a pan on it without it going out. T...

Re: Bar end shifters?
No experience with them but I have found that I occasionally ram my knee into the end of my drop bar when tight cornering. Not frequently and may be because my bars are too narrow or something but it bloody hurts. Can't help but think that I would do it more frequently and probably eventually break ...

I have the Ozone you pictured up there. Not used it yet - gets its maiden outing next month. Will let you know how it gets on. Seems OK on the living room floor test. Think it cost £38 from the USA on one of those bulk purchase price drop site things.

What the hell is the head on the BBQ from? I assume a cow but looks odd. It also looks strangely satisfied with itself.
Edit: second thoughts, maybe a pig.

Know this is a long shot but you never know... Am after a front harness. Specifically a wildcat, Alpamayo or revelate. Must be reasonably good condition. Seen a few Wanted ads for one of these from other people without much of a response but I am sure that some of you must be needing to make a bit o...

Bearing in mind I have no idea what I am talking about, why do you have a mug and a kettle? Thought half the point of the mug was to act as the kettle? Guess you would need a single walled mug though.

Now get cyanogenmod on it  Or another obsolete OS of your choice. Not very up on this due to certain (banking etc) apps not working on phones with root access. It appears that cyanogenmods successor (LineageOS) doesn't have root access as default. Does this mean that these apps will n...

I honestly can't say that until today I had heard a great amount about Mike. I had seen a few posts from him on STW but nothing which marked him out as different to most other posters. I guess that this was just a sign of how humble this guy was as, from reading all I have about him today, he seems ...
