Re: FS: Surplus Wildcat Gear (more added)

Hi Ian,

I'll take the Alpkit Airlock Xtra dry bags: 8 litre (black) and 3 litre (red) if they're still available?

Anyone know of (and willing to share) any decent bivy spots in the vicinity of Malham and Pocklington?

Any info would be much appreciated

Hi All, Looking for some advice on stove and cooking accessories. Soon to be embarking on my first multi day trip and am still undecided on the cooking situation. I will be visiting the chippy etc. en route, however, I still plan to take dry food packs for evening meals and possibly breakfast. First...

Thanks for the info bud, I've got a pannier on this way which I've got a feeling is going to be too small. Let me try that out and I'll get back to you regarding yours.

Cheers

Tarp poles

Hi All,

Can anyone recommend any decent tarp poles please?

I have a Robens 3 x 3 tarp and am looking for something fairly lightweight and easily packable (if such an item exists).

Any recommendations are appreciated

Thanks

Re: Upgrade or not??

Thanks a lot for the info fella's - The bike has held up well on the first few rides out so at present I'm fairly happy considering what I paid. Thanks for the offer on the Strokers Pyro, I'll see how I get on with the cables for now, but might take you up on the offer in the future, although I'd ha...

Upgrade or not??

Hi All, I've just got back into riding after several years out. Unfortunately, due to cash flow I sold my old Kona so have recently had to start again. I only had a £600 budget and had to get both the missus and I a new bike so I ended up opting for the Carrera Sulcata as it look pretty good value a...

Re: Way of the Roses

Thanks Whitestone!

I'll take a look through your recommendations this evening. Taking in Malham Tarn sounds like a great idea.

Thanks for the tip on Greenhow Hill, I do know Pateley Bridge very well as my Dad lives there and I'm planning to stay there on the second evening.

Thanks again!!

Way of the Roses

Hi All, I've just started to make arrangements for my girlfriend and I to cycle the way of the roses route from Morecambe Bay to Bridlington. We have decided to do this over 4 days to allow for plenty of diversions / exploring areas of interest. I have noticed that quite a bit of the route is on roa...
