Re: 21 x 21 Exposure light challenge!

Oh... Ignore the Strava bit. General reports from people who don't use Strava will do. It's mainly a self motivating exercise but why not fight for it (Exposure rear light), hey

21 x 21 Exposure light challenge!

Idea is simple. Every day you go out and ride at least 21 miles without any significant coffee shop stops. First one to complete the set of 21 days (sorry. Strava or some form of recording the event required) also wins a rear Exposure light. USBc chargeable and all round a good egg (or, light). Othe...

 Well I told him he shouldn't filming. But he insisted. Will be interesting to see what he ended up deciding. Ber he managed to get enough quality footage for a half hour popcorn movie.

Re: Website problems?

Not sure if its related but earlier in the week my messages service stopped working. Kept shutting down. (Soft) reset everything but still the problem persisted. Had to do a factory reset of the phone and now its back to generic annoying settings and another of files lost.

Re: how to convert 142mm x 15mm DT Swiss 350 rear 6 bolt hub to boost standard!?

For completeness of information: So I split the front wheel with the DT Swiss boost hub (M1700 27.5). At some point it will want building into the front 29er wheel as thats a Bontrager hub and who has them longer term  That rim I can locate but lost the hub!! Tye rear boost M1700 hub with XD ...

Re: rear wheel dilemma (boost/axle stuff)

Watch this space ☺️ I will although it seems a cr@ppy idea.  We all love in a land of confusion. To be honest, with the M1700 Boost Hub (yes, its 27.5) I couldn't be bothered trying to figure out spoke lengths as my Wheel builder book is too old to have needed to go into that. Plus, Alle...

Re: rear wheel dilemma (boost/axle stuff)

Another option I suppose is to get a bit of a mullet setup going on. Not sure how we'll the geometry of the Santa's Cruz Highball would take it though as its supposed to be a 29er! I have a boost M1700 rear wheel in XD (yes, I tried the adaptors, theyre exactly same size as what's in the DTSwiss 35...

Re: a forum without advertising revenue nor subscription fees!

Yes, good point and I guess it wouldnt be a bad thing as long as it didnt start looking like YT. An ad a minute or whatnot. Never really looked at a brand helping out without making it all look like you're in an edition of MBR (back in the day) with Specialized plastered everywhere. Very good point ...

Re: how to convert 142mm x 15mm DT Swiss 350 rear 6 bolt hub to boost standard!?

John, when woltooth talks about 'only suitbale for ratchet type' do you think this was lost in translation from American to British and they actually meant not suitable for ratchet/XD type hub. Javatime, yes... Thats how I have always viewed chainline. Basically the best line of both sides of the ca...

Re: how to convert 142mm x 15mm DT Swiss 350 rear 6 bolt hub to boost standard!?

Thanks for that info Gian. Yes, I was avoiding the Boostinator for that same reason as it (Wolftooth info) suggested that the caps they were selling only work with the ratchet type freehub. I dont plan to use the ratchet at all. Looking at https://www.dtswiss.com/en/support/product-support?matnr=H35...
