Mapy.cz has worked well for me - a bit basic interface, but fairly kind to the battery and works nicely.

While I've not used the i35, I've been very happy with KOM i23, i25 and i40 rims so see no reason not to suggest the 35!

Check the ends of the outer cables, under the ferrules. I had a stupid issue with shifting on my road bike and couldn't find it for ages, turned out the outer had split right where it left the shifter so it couldn't be seen... but compressed lots when used and gave a similar issue to what you're fin...
