Re: Repair advice
I'd just use whatever fabric I had to hand Bridget - there's not really much load. Same goes for thread, t needn't be anything special. But why did they rip before then? Neither of us is particularly heavy.... They only lasted one trip I think and I want to find something that will last longer than...

Repair advice
Not strictly a MYOG but a repair of a bought item. A couple of years ago I bought these little stools. They are great actually - very light (260g), pretty small and reasonably comfy. Better than sitting on the ground anyway - they are the ideal height for sitting on while you cook. I just carried th...

Re: Pot to stack with Alpkit MytiMug 650...
He is right - you don't need another pot. The 650 is plenty. With a smaller mug inside for making a cup of something you don't need a bigger pot as well.

Don't mention the dangle mug!
Most folk keep their mug/pot in one of these

Re: The return of a classic - pop up T shirt shop.
I've squared it with myself. I've bought one. When it arrives I'll put it on and immediately nip out for a Puddle Pootle just to make sure. i'm still a bit concerned about the puddle though. It would seem that it has to be static (otherwise it might be a 'pool'?): "A puddle is a small accumula...

Re: Cafe lock recommendation please
There's no key. You can only change the code with the lock unlocked. OK, I think there is a misunderstanding here. Unless I have got this wrong - I believe the TSA thing refers a US customs industry standard - it allows customs officers to open your baggage without breaking the lock or calling you ...

Thanks. Do you think TSA is really that safe though? I mean surely you can buy that key on the dark web or something?Alpinum wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 6:49 pm I've been using a very similar one to this for a bunch of years:

Sold Shimano SLX cranks M675 Hollowtech II
Shimano SLX Hollowtech II M675 cranks, 175mm arms. Originally a double but can easily run as a single (104bcd). In good nick, comes with all the fixings etc. Good condition - slight scuffing to right crank arm but it's pretty minimal. I bought these on here but I won't be using them now. £38 posted ...

Re: Cafe lock recommendation please
I have a very similar version to this. Must be an older model. I have two in fact. Plus some keyed versions like a knog one. Forgot the key when I took them out so stick with the combination version https://www.wiggle.co.uk/abus-combiflex-2501-cable-lock?lang=en&curr=GBP&dest=1&sku=1020...

Hey Stu, I know you have the links to your reviews and shop pinned to the top of this page, but how about a thread that you update whenever you have posted a new review? I keep forgetting to look and you do some really great reviews on interesting stuff there.

Nice one thanks. He did sell two of those quite close together a few days ago, so I did wonder if someone has said something somewhere.
