FS: Fox Float CTD 7.25x1.75" (Salsa Horsethief)
For sale is the rear shock off my old 2015 Salsa Horsethief. I'd had it fully serviced (air + damper) by Sprung, only to a find big crack in the frame when re-assembling...so it has sat unused in my loft ever since! As such, it's pretty much a new shock - there are no scratches on the main body and ...

SMD Lunar Duo Outfitter
For sale is a SMD Lunar Duo - the Outfitter version. Comes in the original SMD stuff sack. Doesn't come with poles, but I will include some basic aluminium pegs if wanted. I bought this tent on the forum around 3 years ago, and have used it for about 20 nights since, so it's still in good nick. Come...

Re: Vittoria 29+ tyres?
I've been riding a TNT Cannoli on the front for the past 2 weeks and so far so good. They went up tubeless quite easily, in comparison to the non-tubeless Bomboloni I bought by mistake, which were so loose on the rim they were never going to work without a tube. In my experience then, definitely go ...

Re: 2 person tent recommendations
I've got an SMD Duo Outfitter that I bought off here a couple of years ago. It's absolutely palatial inside so excellent for "living" in when it's wet. Biggest downside is that it's not great in high winds and, like any non-2 skin tent, you'll have to be careful to manage condensation. Ove...

WTD: Etrex 30x replacement screen / spares unit
Hi all, I recently broke my Etrex 30x screen with my face whilst ducking under a branch and simultaneously hitting a route. Ouch! After taking the unit apart, it seems like a simple screen replacement should sort it out, but trying to find one is proving a challenge. I thought I'd ask if anyone here...

He was DQ'ed for not being self-sufficient on the navigation, ie. following other riders around because his dynamo wouldn't charge his gps.

FS Pearl Izumi X-Alp Elevate size 46/10.5 BNIB
Brand new pair of size 46EU/10.5UK Pearl Izumi X-Alp Elevates for sale. They are last years model (I think - single boa on tongue + forefoot velcro strap) in black. They are a bit tight around the midfoot for me, and with ongoing foot issues due to poorly fitting shoes on the Highland Trail, I'm not...

Re: BB200 2020
Gave this a good crack yesterday, semi-chasing Matt's time and to see where the fitness was after a funny year. Pretty pleased to get round in 14:32, even if I did do more pushing up tarmac than I have in the rest of my life combined! On paper it was to be my longest/hardest ride on singlespeed yet,...

Re: BB200 2020
The route appears to go the wrong way down one way streets in both Crickhowell and Builth. I've re-routed on the shortest legal route, but just wanted to check that this won't result in a DNF?! It may be worth either changing the track, or highlighting these spots in an email, as I'm sure a few peop...

I'm keen to buy this off you. Will you include postage? If so I'll take it.
Cheers,

Bike boxes for Venice Marco Polo
Has anyone on here successfully sourced a cardboard bike box when flying out of Venice Marco Polo airport? It looks like there are a few bike shops in Mestre, which also has a Decathlon I believe. Any tips on shops which have been easy to contact in the past are most welcome.

Re: GB Divide
I'll admit to being a bit biased given I did the track for the LE to Bristol segment, but I think this is a great route. It's difficult to balance the competing requirements of maximising offroad riding whilst not ending up with a route that feels very bit-y and contrived, but I think this does a go...

It's definitely about Josh. Look at Ryan le Garrec (the photographer's) instagram feed - he even tags the photos #dudewhereisJosh for goodness sakes. I can see why Lael's crew might feel hard done by.

wtd: 2 person tent
Just about to commit to buying a brand new Trekkertent Drift, but thought I'd ask here in case anyone has got a 2 person tent they don't use/want to get of? The main criterion is being long enough for me a 6'3 to stretch out in, and it would ideally have 2 entrances. Looking for something in the sub...

Say what you want about support, etc. but it does provide us folks on the sofa some cracking images to live vicariously through!
Anyone else notice the running shoes in the photo of Lael at McD's in Fernie? Just carrying them for Koko and then ditching them, or taking them all the way?
