Re: Bivvy a Month 2017.
Isle of Wight Bivi - 9/9 Seems to be a running theme in recent months, get to the end of the month and realise I haven't ticked off the bivi yet! Same again for September....with three or so different ideas in my head I settled on my first bivi over seas (well the Solent) on the island and Dan (sit ...

If it was an isolated bit of damage, I'd agree. Actually the pic above isn't the worst bit.....

Boring.....29er Tyres.....
Having only used Schwalbe Racing Ralph's and sometimes a Nobby Nic on the Singlespeed/Bikepacking bike for the last 10yrs. The current rear tyre did this, in multiple places on the rear tyre......with less than 1200km on it. http://i.imgur.com/cyHABM1.jpg Get another one in there new 'improved' Addi...

Re: Bivvy a Month 2017.
BAM 2017 - July 7 of 7 Running out of time in the month again, decided the best night would be after work's Burger social night. So a late start after a decidedly average burger from a supposedly 'Handmade' burger chain and a beer too many, I pedaled off into the night. I headed up to the same spot ...

Re: Dorset / Hampshire
Could always plan a route that goes back to the Poole area for the morning?
Loop out over the Purbecks, uptowards Wareham then a shortish run back to Poole in the morning?
Or Northish and back?
Having look at the maps there are options, what would work best for you?

Hi tenbears10,
I work up near the airport (live Southampton side of NF).
Been doing some overnights, mid week out from the office.
Currently planning something in the next two weeks, any good for you?

Re: No Excuse November
Nice to have some reply's, thanks. I'm starting to explore some options, I have a shortlist in mind.... One option is simply a grid reference, no frills but a bivi spot with some weather protection. If numbers are there I can make it more fancy (not too fancy mind!!). I know the location and it's po...

Re: Bivvy a Month 2017.
BAM#6 Running out of days this month, dilemmas about routes, kit, explorer squares and the temperature. Resulted in a shorter than before, late out and early home route. Familiar trails close to home and out into untapped trails, got me down to a spot on the edge of the Solent. Watched what I think ...

No Excuse November
Yes, I know it's ages away and there will be plenty of excuses - "too far south" for starters, but I'm thinking of arranging a gathering location for a November bivi. Location: either New Forest or North Hampshire Date: 17/18/19th Nov. (Provisional) General idea is that the location will h...

Have a look at the SQlab bars.
http://www.sq-lab.com/shop/en/handle-ba ... -31-8.html
A bit more sweep than a standard bar, but not to the extreme of a Jones.
Felt good riding them for the first time over the WRT.
