Could have done with this thread last week Dave - it would have been a reminder to take the Spanish maps off the Garmin and put the UK ones back on, which in turn would have made navigating the Jenn Ride a much more straightforward affair.

tbf I've got a pair of 2" Big Apples on my Ogre that have been all over the Peaks without too much drama.

There's a chiipy in Elton, just before Chester. Come off the M56 at J14 and its about half a mile up the road.

The Dually is perfect for that range of tyre width. I've run 2.35 Nobby Nics, 3" Dirt Wizards and various things in between.

Current plan is road blast down to LLwyn-on on the Saturday, stay over with a few mates in the bunkhouse, try not to get too p!ssed. Then Sunday/Monday off road it back north via Llandovery, maybe bivi somewhere around Trallwm, Carnau northbound Monday morning, breakfast at Elan visitor centre, then...

I'll be there for about 9pm on Friday.

I've stayed there for the last 2 BB events, there's a nice hubbub about the place on the night before. Food and breakfasts are good.
