Salsa reckon that you would be better off with the Medium frame, however the Large is too small for me at 6'2" with offset post & 80mm stem. Mate at 5'10" found it to be a perfect fit for him. hth

SOLD Salsa Horsethief L / WTD: red Krampus L
Hey, As much as I love my bouncy bike I'm just not using it enough to justify keeping it. It's the split pivot version in Large, green colour, with protective sticker on the downtube. It has a few small scratches here and there but no dings, dents or doughnuts. It comes with Cane Creek headset fitte...

Re: BB30 adapters - Wheels manufacturing
I’ve used the same adapters on my old Spearfish with PFbb30 - you just pop those into the bearings on your frame and fit HollowTech cranks. Doesn’t really matter if the frame is BB30 or PFbb30..? https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/WtSRHuY7G71jHR7bmtvg-CK9E_On16nCDVuzxixpU9NHi_gdicz-E_aWXp68PcaDPnRTpX...

Re: What night riding lights are people recommending?
Ah, thanks Trail-rat, I'll give it a go. I've assumed that one of the lights being as low as possible with the other perched on top of my pot will be the best option but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try bar & helmet setting!

@Burko73: Well, they said they don’t have clearance but sometimes you have to try anyway. Same as their geo sheets being a bit out it would have seem... Anyway, once you get past all this, they are great bikes and that’s my n’th Genesis now. This one is being replaced with the Tarn, still have my Da...

Re: Boxing Day overnighter?
Many thanks for your suggestions! I used to cycle along the Rushall Canal, Daw End Branch and then Worley and Essington Canal towards Chasewater, I’m happy to try a different route this time. Seems like a plan. I will pm you for a copy of the route in a few days, many thanks again. And I hope to see...

Genesis Longitude Large yellow frame 16’
I’m looking to sell my Genesis Longitude frame in Large, 2016 yellow model. Comes with the FSA headset, seat clamp, shim to use the 27.2mm seat post and chain tensioners. There is a chance I might sell the frame bag as well, need to double check the new frame first, although it’s not the greatest fi...

Boxing Day overnighter?
After all the Christmas madness and gluttony I’m sure I will need some sort of a quiet time away from the dazzling fir trees and deafening carols. I am planning to either cycle from Brum towards Cannock Chase or Wyre Forrest, camp, and cycle back the very next day or use the train for the first part...

Re: What night riding lights are people recommending?
Two lights are a must in my case - on as low as poss, the other stuck to my helmet. I use Revo mounted on the crown arch with Cateye Volt600 or Cateye Volt300 mounted via Cateye centre fork mount and another one on the helmet. I also have a couple of cheap Chinese lanterns from fleebay, however I’m ...
