Re: TransScotlandrace

Yea looked at that option but I still think a road bike will be the quicker option over the whole route. Also watch ferry times on Sunday. And it stops during the night. Are you going for a sub 24 hours?

Re: TransScotlandrace

Inverness castle start
Braemar castle
fort william castle
Inveraray castle
Newark Castle
Glasgow Necropolis finish
I can't see a faster option than the road?

Re: Tuscany Trail 2017, who's going?

Ha cheers Garry tbh we could have been quicker but took time to enjoy some nice good food and fix some punctures ha ha. Finding and sleeping in a church in the middle of nowhere was a bit weird. It even had power so we could recharge batteries.

Re: Tuscany Trail 2017, who's going?

I enjoyed it. Was pretty much what I was expecting as had read up on it a bit. Brilliant weather nice relaxed atmosphere. Stopped and took pictures and ate at restaurants. Met some really nice people as well. Pretty pleased how it went with finish time and relaxed riding. apart from a few mechanicals
