Bob Yak Trailer

Bob Yak trailer. Good condition. Doesn't have the quick release needed to attach to bike. I'm selling it for a work friend whose husband used it (once I'm told) for a tour abroad. £50. Cheers, Greg

10/10 Macclesfield last night. A late ride in & a very early start this morning so I could get to work. Love the early morning rides. Even picked up a Strava PR along the Middlewood Way on the way home. https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5604/30439368056_42a467335e_z.jpg IMG_9175 by Green Vegetables ...

Grindslow Knoll, Dennis Knoll, Brown Knoll, Windy Knoll, Crookstone Knoll, Knoll Knoll (might be wrong about that one) .... (I'll shut up now :-)). Maybe we should organise a PRT (Peaks Ride Thing(*)) visiting all the knolls in Derbyshire? (*) Copyright Stuart BBB. "Reg"

I'd like a lhc place please. I'm doing the lite version but thinking might just head out with Chew on the sat & sort myself out on the sun. Assuming that's ok with chew? Knowing where I was Saturday night/Sunday morning would be useful I guess

"favourite Peak District Knoll" - nice one Greg. Would that happen to be W*r Knoll by the way? (NOOOO not that word!) Nearly tried it the other day but went for J*s C*h instead cos of nearby stream. It's a long wall, HopeX to W*r K*l (I've worn out my star key now), is the whole length fl...

Re: Avimore locals?

As you say, "depending on weather". FWIW, the soil round here dries out pretty quickly so it's rare to have long-lasting muddy trails (though I know of a few). Snow is now confined to the upper slopes, though we could still have frosty mornings/nights. Some of the flood damage from last y...

1st time 3 Peaks Cyclo Cross. Fantastic day to be out, but bloody hard work dragging a bike to the top of the fells. Although I must admit that I hadn't prepared for it & my regular 1 hour road rides didn't really cut it

Anyone got any route advice for a Lake District trip? I'm intending to start in Staveley & looking for a route of about 80km. I've plotted a route which heads along High Street to Patterdale, Boredale Hause, Howtown, Askham, Swindale, Mosedale, Longsleddale, Staveley Head. I've no idea how ridea...
