The one bike conundrum
A recent change in work arrangements has upped the bike commute distance and frequency. I'm moments from clicking go on a bike that will do the 18mile each way commute on 700 x32's and then accommodate 27.5 x 1.9/2 ish tyres for more offroad trail stuff. Anyone got any experiences of a similar setup...

Re: Waterproofs
Mt500 is my go to jacket if I think I'll need a hood or Endura pro SL if no hood. The pro SL is the best waterproof I've ridden in since 1989 when the mtb bug bit!

Re: Has Wiggle ruined CRC?
The buzz around the trade is that distributors are becoming increasingly frustrated by Wiggle slashing prices on current product to the detriment of the brands and their Lbs network. Range and availability issues are often the consequence. It's part of a swing back to bricks and mortar by consumers...

Re: Really warm socks (not wool)
IME waterproof socks aren't really warm unless they're merino/wool lined which negates your not wool requirement. The only thing I can think of is maybe fleece socks Quite right, Endura make a primaloft sock which is really cosy as part of the fs260 collection. https://www.endurasport.com/product/p...

Re: Cheap ways to Scotland
Are there any other south-coasters who would share a car/van trip up there? A BB southerners do Scotland trip could be fun. Yes! Although I've booked 96% of next year's annual leave already! The bikepacking highlight being Dover to Calais ferry, ride to Caen via as much beach/trail as we can find, ...

I've an older exposure Too (900 lumens) which is plenty for New Forest Gravel and easy trails and a 1500L Lupine Piko which is fab - Bluetooth remote and tuneable via the app to push out runtime
