Re: Bivvy a month 2019
Last gasp March, late write up - 2/2 (Started in February) Apologies to Zippy... Had mixed feelings about embarking on BAM2019, having got my badge for 2018 – but headed out locally on a Sunday night to get the tick and keep my options open… Took the NCN 26 around out to Portishead for some estuarin...

Re: Bivvy a month 2019
1/1 – February Done Late write up, and apologies if this throws Zippy’s stats. I caught the February heatwave, and the Bridgwater train on a Friday afternoon for the annual trip down to the Somerset Levels to see the mega starling murmuration. A bit lazy but used cycle.travel website for my route th...

Where to send unwanted cycling clothing for charity re-use?
I am sure that there was a post on here a few months back giving details of a charity sending cycling clothing (to Africa?)
I can't find it here now, and a wider google gives links that are a couple of years old.
Can anyone help ? Thanks in advance

Just saying in ...

Agree, best avoided at the weekends, especially for a ride during daylight hours, but now found a quiet corner to pitch when needed.

Shock cord also works but I am normally carrying the strap anyway for emergency luggage.or to stop the bike rolling around in th...

Re: whats the lightest way to make fresh coffee
Greek/Turkish/ and all the middle Eastern coffees use really finely ground coffee and the whole mix is brought up to the boil. A little sugar helps to create the essential froth. You only need a small cup to get the hit, forget about milk and stop before you get to the sludge. ...
