You have probably checked this, but just in case... If the caliper has been installed incorrectly (wrong adapter or spherical washers if fitted) you can get a situation where ultimately the unworn portion at the top of the pads touch, and the disc happily spins in the worn gap below. Agree, best avoided at the weekends, especially for a ride during daylight hours, but now found a quiet corner to pitch when needed.

Pillow installation... I use a cheapy from Poundland slid into a buff, then secure it to the mattress with a strap threaded through the buff and tight around the mattress. Does anyone know if you can normally get from Llandeillo'r Fan to the Tirabad road. ? Cycle.travel has plotted me a route through there despite it being in the Danger Area.
