Re: Great weekend! Thanks :-)

And they are far to generous with their Gin as my head discovered the next morning. Still 106 miles and 10,200 off feet of climbing, so the hangover wasn't too bad!

Re: Charging a garmin edge 200 or similar

One of mine is a fuel + PCPB30001 as it supports charge/discharge at the same time, so you can charge it from say a dynamo and charge your garmin at the same time. It cost about 8 quid.

Gels/Bars/Nutrition

Just to let you all know, our favourite sports nutrition site has got a discount on for the WRT. If you use the code 'bearbones' when you visit http://www.totallyfuelled.com you will get 20% off of your order. Very handy I'm stocking up with goodies for the WRT.

Cheers

No issues with hans damp's or nobby nicks on Stan's Arch rims. Even the hated xr4 and xr mud went on with no drama.

Re: West Country Way (Devon C2C) GPX track?

I also have the add on to take you on to the Quantocks somewhere. From there another bit links you up with the West Country Way, along onto the South Downs Way, so you can go Plymouth to Eastbourne on it.

Not ridden it myself yet, only the SDW.

Mx3 do some really good meals. Hugh cal per gram. I bought them from a French site much cheaper and a better range. I used them in the Bbff in jan.

One of my friends has one. He says it's ok. I'd personally what for the new Appkit one unless you are in a hurry. That should be like the revalate ones but at Alpkit prices.

Re: Flint/South Downs Way

and remember that there is so much mud at the moment, punctures are impossible!!! Don't you get mud with bits of flint in it like we get around here? Lethal for cheapo tyres that is! Some, but at the moment you won't notice the flint, just the mud! Considering the amount of miles I have ridden over...

Re: Quick dynamo Q - sorry.

Yep, SP-PD8 on 700c connected to bm front and rear lights and to e-werk. Lights work fine and e-werk charges everything fine with the lights switched on. SP-PD8x on 26". Normally only runs the e-werk, but tried it with the lights as well and it was fine at over 8-10km per hour. That light isn't...

I live next to it and have had three punctures on it since last October, that's a lot of riding. It was only one that stans couldn't handle and that one the tyre deflated totally in less than 10 secs. I have been riding bonti xr4's, bonti team mud, Hans damp, nobble nicks, and co ti mountain and tra...

Hey, at the BBFF I saw a couple of people with Spot units on arm bands. Can any of you let me know where you got the armbands from and was it for the gen 2 or gen 3 model?

Re: Lightweight pitch outer first tents?

Very happy with my robens starlight 2. It survived the bbff weather fine, plus it's very warm and has lots of vents for warmer weather. You can also use it as a outer tent only, 1 pole, 4 pegs and two guy ropes.
