Re: Sonder Broken Road Owners - Whatcha Reckon?

I have an XL that is 18 months old. I would have got one a lot earlier if I had known that they take 29 x 2.6, which came from a chat with Richpips. Mine was built from frame up. Spec is: Fox 34 set to 110mm 29er Hope Pro4/Kinlin XL29 rims (30mm internal). Ardents 2.25 rear 2.4 front. Hope brakes. 1...

Re: All road, warroad, endurance help.

Have a look at the Fairlight Secan. Not cheap, but really has a superb ride quality and normal and tall geometries for each size. Takes upto 700x x 45 or 650b x 2.1" so very versatile. Loved mine, but had to sell to raise some cash.

No worries wriggles I have the same question where did you buy that cheers all Yeah the racktime topit evo has been on my radar for a while as its narrower and less obtrusive than the spesh, fits to the same mid fork mounts, but also ally without being flimsey so still quite light unlike the nitto/...

Mounts to some eyelets halfway down my fork.

Pretty light and sturdy - decent for strapping a drybag or jacket to or something.
Where did you get that from please? (Hope dont mind Mick)

Re: Anyone got a spesh pizza rack or similar lying around they no longer use

Think thats more to do with the aptitude of the people fitting it. Mine did take a bit of adjustment and I had to use a different bracket from the fork crown but since fitted its been fine

Steve that sounds similar. The pain is excruciating at its worst. Well mine isnt getting any better. Even a short ride on clips (with cleats moved back) is bringing back the pain. Rode yesterday on flats and had the same issue, admittedly using a pair of old trainers. Not getting the issue on the tu...

Staying close to Galloway forest at the moment. Went for a ride into it a couple of weeks ago. Rounded a corner to see a mature Golden Eagle sat on a tree stump 30 feet away. Dont know who was more surprised, me or the bird. Heck they have a big old wingspan when they unfold. It slowly flapped away ...

Thanks for advice all! Well I have moved my cleats back 1cm and test ridden on Turbo. Feels wierd after 20 years of riding with cleats in old position. Will ride today and see how it goes. Have lowered saddle a tad to comensate. Hopefully this wont lead to other issues (knees, lower back etc). Isnt ...
