Stuart,
The lamp shade sounds good!
More of an "up lighter" I was thinking.
Give us a shout when you have some progress.

Re: Quick quilt question
Drew, I have a 150 and a 350 Cumulus, the 350 is my do it all quilt of choice! Have had it down to about 1/ 2 deg. with a bit of "boosting"as you say, had it on WRT with no problem and the Northern winter bivvy. My 150 I have only used once and it was about 8/ 9 deg. the quilt lofts loads ...

Re: FS: Revelate Tangle - Small, Apidura Saddle Pack
Sorry for the blatant hijack here, but if the Tangle does get sold and someone still wants a partial frame bag. Then I have an Alpkit Possum in Med for sale a few posts down.
It's been up a while and I could do it for £35.00 posted aswell.
Thanks.

Yes Ian,
What kind of axle fitting is the CK single speed hub.
I've got a 10mm QR, will it fit?
Also, are the carbon rimmed wheels sold yet?

You are so right Ben.
A thing of beauty it is indeed, but sadly my bank account just won't stretch that far, mate. So I'm gonna have to make do with the steel jobby!
Not that I'm moaning too much

Re: Thinking of a Stooge.
Many thanks for all the replies and complements on the Stooge.
Zigrat, of these parts has sorted me out one. Can't quite believe it has happened so fast, but with all the good feedback seems rude not to!
Will report back on build and test ride.
Thanks again all.
Adam.

Thinking of a Stooge.
Been thinking of treating myself to a new frame and looking seriously at the Stooge. Would tick a lot of boxes for me, EBB for SS and hub gear duties, short chainstays, steel (which is well favoured in this parish!), cost (which is very acceptable) Has anybody got a realtime frame weight and any bik...

Re: Great weekend! Thanks :-)
It was my first WRT, so didn't really know what to expect. I wondered what I had done when I found myself standing in a field at 8.30am Sat. in high winds and sleet. I was all worth it to arrive back in beautiful sunshine and to the welcoming choice of cake. The Bara Brick was delicious!!! Thanks to...

Re: Finding Numo aka I need a new sleeping mat.
Another plus for the Exped Down mat. As man like Ben say, so warm and comfy even in the depths of winter! I have just got a Numo, will be be test driving it at WRT, I reckon it should do the biz! Super small pack size is a great bonus, could be going with a 5l Airlok Extra on the bars. That will be ...

I got a Cumulus and havent had a problem with the draft. Being in a good bivvy will cut loads out and you can always wear base layers as mentioned above.

I used to carry a Platypus in the bag, then have a bottle strapped low on the down tube. Worked well for me and that bag is easily big enough for all your supplies!!
