Re: BB200 2023

I’ve got to say that I thought it was a really good route with a bit of everything that I expected/ hoped/ feared. Having not done much longer riding for a few years I wanted to see if I still had any capacity to “endure “ and it certainly tested that! I hope those still to ride the route aren’t too...

Re: My Borders 350 2018

Great read and interesting to have your perspective of things. At least 4 times on day 1 and a few times after I thought "that's the last I'll see if them!" As you pulled away from me. It was surprising how evenly matched we seemed to be despite our different strengths and weaknesses (terr...

I think we're going to have to miss this as it's going to use all my remaining holidays so I need to do something incorporating weekends to get the most out of it.

Cheers for putting the trip out there.

Re: Autumn Italy trip anyone???

Hello, me and Jen could be interested in this. Any of the dates you've suggested would work for us as we were just trying to decide what to do with some time off around then. I guess from your description the route is cross/ gravel bike friendly ? What sort of locations do you overnight in? Jen has ...

Re: Yorkshire Winter Bivi

There'll be one or two spots on the road between Skipton and Kettlewell that always have ice patches but they usually have warning ...

Re: An evening in the Shropshire hils

Cheers Scott for sorting out a great route and both of you for the company. A very enjoyable weekend with perfectly timed pub stops to keep things on the right side of fun. I agree with Steve that it's certainly a route worth revisiting in slightly less moist conditions!
