Sadly for this trip number 3 of 12 i lost my bivi companion to mechanical problems of the four wheeled type and fat bike drive issues, as we both want to do all 12 on fattys. So with bike loaded up and the only weekend i could get a trip in due to commitments, i trundled my fat bike out of the garag...

Gower Bivi 2 of 12… 18th & 19th of Feb We abandoned our car at the Heritage Centre and headed out via Park woods and out onto the ridgeline at Penmean, this offers 360deg views of the surrounding countryside and gives you stunning views down into three cliffs bay and across to Oxwich and beyond....

Zippy make sure you go into the Abbey at SF they do a ok brew and its a pretty cool site. Only reason i'm not heading south is ive done a fair amount of that area. My riding partners dropped out due to injury, so I've adapted and overcome i'm now ignoring all stu's grid refs and gonna head to the coast and back in via Borth, Aber and Nant Y Arian trail centre (for breki in the cafe) then wild night on saturday on some random hill .... i don't mind the rain and...
