Re: If there were a UK 'gravel race' ...

Stupid Red Tape. But, with enlightened self interest, yay! I will now be able to do this race when it happens as I am away on the original dates.

Would I be able to enter for the new date Ian, once it's known of course?

Re: Toasti Toes Foot Warmer

Just a thought, I used to suffer from similar cold/numbness until a wise friend suggested changing the angle of my saddle. He was right, it was restricting blood flow. My feet never get cold anymore. Try tilting your saddle forward a bit to take pressure off your perineum.

Re: 100 mile Dorset Gravel Dash

I'm up for this, I ride road over that way quite a bit, would be good to get to know the trails better. It's a lovely area, and some great pubs in Corfe Castle village.

Re: gps with turn notification

Yeah, ridewithgps cuepoints are pretty good, I use it all the time for road rides. Also for the BB200, I added a cuepoint at every turn, and I didn't go wrong much as a result. Also, I'm using a Garmin 800, and I have used Turn Guidance a few times, and it's really useful. I had it on when I rode up...

Re: Terra Nova Discovery Lite Bivvi Bag

On ThereNBack I breathed into it for a bit at the beginning of the nite, as I was cold, but I soon started breathing outside, and it was fine, there wasn't any condensation in it when I woke up in the morning.

Dave, Have you returned your spyre brakes under the recall notice? I sent mine straight back, but am waiting for the replacements!

Just thought I'd mention it in case you didn't know about it http://www.bikeradar.com/road/news/arti ... kes-39290/

Any of you know of a route for this online? Going to do it in the summer with some friends from Barcelona, so will ride Atlantic to med and finish in Barcelona. Not many decent routes to be found online :(

The 3d viewer is great. Really works for some serious climbs. Here's a ride in the Sierra Nevadas, Spain in august.
